The CashCard can be funded with any amount required–funding can be done at designated bank branches, ATMs or from shops with point of sale (POS) terminals.

CashCard can be used to make purchases through POS terminals at shops, shopping online and withdraw money from any ATM that is connected (directly or indirectly) to the InterSwitch network.

CashCard operates in virtually the same manner as the Nigeria debit card. The difference is that whilst the Nigeria debit card is linked to the cardholder’s bank account in a bank, the CashCard is linked to a virtual account.

Once you get a CashCard, you are advised to immediately change your PIN at any of the ATMs, POS, Web site connected to the InterSwitch network.  You are also advised to register your card at the CashCard website, address, (www.mynigeriacashcard.com), or call the InterSwitch Customer Care (01-4610161) to register the card on your behalf – you would be required to provide the Card Number, Expiry date and your name to register the card.
